Prize Money and Other Prizes for Awardees

Each award recipient will receive a cash prize. Furthermore, the 1st place entry will be turned into an anime!
These are the two prize options available for this competition, but in the future, we plan on creating a payment structure where additional funds generated by one’s work are returned to the original author.
This would be difficult at the moment, however, if we begin to make more money from our shows or other income streams, we hope to renegotiate and improve any standing contracts.

アニメ化短編漫画大賞

Here at Animator Supporters, our first priority is to protect the interests of anime creators. Of course, this applies to the animators who make the actual animation happen, but we believe that the manga artists who provide the original work are, in a broad sense, part of this anime creator category. We would be very happy to accommodate any requests or advice from manga creators regarding the animation process of their work. We will do whatever we can within reason.

Regarding Difficult to Adapt Works

In the current landscape of anime adaptations, we believe that some works are easier to adapt than others. There have been many masterpiece mangas that have not received adaptations in the past. We would like this competition to be used as a platform to give these amazing works an adaptation, and by extension, an outlet to be known by more people.
